De-Arne is an Animal Communicator having studied under Simonne Lee in 2010.
De-Arne is also a certified Reiki Master and Teacher – Using the Usui Shiki Ryôhô Reiki System of Natural Healing. She is an Angel Intuitive® having studied with Doreen Virtue, a ThetaHealing® and Clairvoyant Healing Practitioner. She has a passion for Bach Flower Essences, Aromatherapy, Astrology, Numerology and Crystals and continues to study various complementary metaphysics.
Together with 14 other Angel Intuitive’s from around the world she co-authored the double award-winning book: Angels Winged Whispers – True Stories from Angel Experts around the World – Living Now Book Awards 2012 – Bronze Medalist and the National Best Book Awards 2012 – Best New Age: Non-Fiction.
She has also created a 10 Signature Range of Bach Flower Essences for Animals addressing their emotional needs.
De-Arne runs regular 3 x Webinars for Levels 1-2 & 1 day workshops in Neutral Bay for TSLM of Animal Communication.
Having come from a managerial background in Finance Administration, one of the ways that I had always unwound and relaxed (still do) is spending time with my horses. I enjoy riding my horses and am still educating my youngest. I’ve always seemed to attract stray animals into my life and my husband and I have adopted quite a few into our home and family. Our home is based in rural Victoria and we’re land-locked so my dream holidays always involve the sun, sand and sea plus animals!
I’m now revelling in the fact that I can work with what I love – Animals and People. Being a Reiki Master/Teacher and Animal Communicator lets me assist Animals and their Peoples’ health and wellbeing, issues, misunderstandings and most of all deepen their relationships. I love being able to give a voice to all animals and it’s so deeply satisfying to change for the better, the lives of animals and people, I just LOVE what I do!

I began working with animals as a dog stylist in 2001. I managed and owned a few salons and in between worked at a Veterinary Clinic which was very educational AND interesting. This started my quest into dog behaviour and in 2016 I became a Dog Trainer and Behaviourist!
I have now expanded my horizons into the world of Animal Communication which is my passion and purpose in life. With this beautiful skill, I combined my two worlds of Dog Grooming and Animal Communication. And more importantly, achieving amazing results for dogs and their owners.
Animal Communication & Healing – Graduate 2020
Animals are my passion and their wellbeing is my purpose. Animals are not ‘just animals’. They have emotions and feelings. They have a voice, which should be expressed and heard. I love my work as an animal communicator, because this is the best way to give them a voice. I would also love to touch lives of many animals and their humans by bringing in harmony and a deeper connection between them.
I always have been an animal lover and had several pets (dog, birds and hamster) as a child. But the real cruncher was my beloved honey Yellow Lab Funny. She changed my world and was the one who opened the door to Animal Communication for me. She is what I call my twin soul as I’ve never felt a connection like this before with a person or animal before. She taught me unconditional love and mutual understanding between different species is possible. This deep connection I had with Funny has become the biggest asset for me to understand my clients’ relationships with their animals.
Currently, I live with a sweet orange tabby cat, Joyous (Jo Jo), my fish GMan and Boo. I have thoroughly been enjoying being their mumma and in near future, I’m planning to welcome another dog into my life. The thought of having fish, a cat and dog as my part of my family makes me feel very excited!!
Kathy McLean
Founder of Holistic Ark, Kathy comes from a hospitality back ground , working as a chef for 25 years before moving into business / office management .
A near death experience 2 years ago helped me realise office management isn’t my true passion. Contemplating this and where to go from here lead me to the animal communication and healing field. I have been doing reiki for over 20 years and have a passion to heal humans and non humans.
I created Holistic ark to help humans and they animals achieve harmony and health through animal communication, reiki, crystals and essential oils. My other life long passion is cooking. I am combining my natural talent for cooking and healing to make delicious pet treats.
Animals have always been part of my life through family farms, pets and show dogs.
Animals are the greatest teachers of our life journeys. They seem to show us ways of travelling our paths with a big heart, kindness, bravery, and most importantly is unconditional love. I love nature and I enjoy connecting with animals. I have always been passionate about animals and their wellbeing, but Bobby, my beloved fur baby who taught me unconditional love and bravery, he was the one who led me to the pathway of Animal Communication. I am always grateful for this special connection that I have had with Bobby. In the journey of my professional study and training of animal communication with Simonne, I have also developed a strong passion for Reiki healing.
My purpose of becoming an animal communicator is to create awareness for the owner regarding what emotional state their pets are in. This is the key to many things in life – consciousness. I aim to help owner and their pets to create a harmonious balance and achieve health through animal communication and Reiki healing.
